Biography

Andy is Professor of Product Design and Engineering and Director of redLoop - a Design and Innovation Centre.

His expertise is in product, service and interaction design, innovation andtechnology development, which he practices with external clients throughredLoop and through collaboration with research colleagues in the universityand wider academic community.

He is an innovator andinveterate collaborator

He has been instrumental in gaining/deliveringon over £8M of Research grant funding including CRADL (€5.5M Horizon 2020), CORLeiT (£537KUKRI Emergency COVID Funding – MDX/UCL), PNEUMACRIT (£1.8MEPSRC MDX/UCL/Cambridge), etc.
