Research activities

Nimai is an Associate Professor in Sport Performance Analysis and is well known in his discipline. At Middlesex University, he leads the development and delivery of highly regarded MSc courses in Sport Performance Analysis, both on-campus and online distance education versions. Nimai's curriculum development experience is extensive and international, having created and delivered undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the UK and in several other countries, including India, Croatia, Lithuania, and America. He is a research-active academic who publishes regularly and presents his work at prestigious international and national conferences. 


Current Teaching

Nimai is Director of Postgraduate Sport Programmes and also is a Programme Leader for the MSc in Sport Performance Analysis (both on-campus and distance education). This involves teaching on all core modules and also undertake PGT and PGR thesis supervision.

    Nimai is an Associate Professor in Sport Performance Analysis and is well known in his discipline.     Nimai is committed to addressing underrepresentation in Sport Performance Analysis. He has designed and run innovative EDI mentorship programs in collaboration with leading industry partners. Nimai is highly engaged with industry and has established research projects and placement opportunities for his students with major international governing bodies and sports associations, as well as with professional and elite teams across various sports, including Olympic and Paralympic teams in collaboration with UK Sports Institute.     Nimai's contributions to the development of International Accreditation frameworks for both applied and academic performance analysts are widely recognised, as are his organisational skills in leading international conferences and workshops. He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the International Society of Performance Analysis of Sport (ISPAS), where he actively works to advance the field of Sport Performance Analysis.
