Research activities

I have a keen interest on the integration of technology into programmes to enhance the student experience and help increase engagement in the subject area and linked achievement of the students. I encourage the use of elearning in the team in a manner which does not replace face-to-face learning sessions, but rather supports them.

My current research interests are:

  • My PhD is entitled ‘Using technology to enhance learning, progression and achievement in Higher Education
  • Feedback and the use of technology to enhance and improve the student experience. The development of a student positive student culture and the impact on the learning environment
  • Personalised interactive students learning systems and supportive technology.
  • Digital literacies - exploring the understanding of digital literacy of staff and students at Middlesex University.
