    Biography

    Dr. Ramona Trestian is an Associate Professor with Design Engineering and Mathematics Department, Faculty of Science and Technology, Middlesex University, London, UK. She was previously an IBM-IRCSET Exascale Postdoctoral Researcher with the Performance Engineering Laboratory (PEL) at Dublin City University (DCU), Ireland since December 2011. She was awarded the PhD from DCU in March 2012 and the B.Eng. in Telecommunications from Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, 2007. Shehas published 100+ peer-reviewed research papers in prestigious internationalconferences and journals, has five edited books and one authored book. She wasinvolved as Co-I and PI on funded projects with international partners fromIndia, Indonesia, and Ireland. She has active collaborations with India,Turkey, Switzerland, Ireland and UK in the area of machine learning andwireless communications. Her research interests include mobile and wirelesscommunications, quality of experience, multimedia systems, Industry 4.0 anddigital twin modelling. She is an Associate Editor of the IEEE CommunicationsSurveys and Tutorials. Dr. Trestian is the Research Degree Coordinator for theDesign Engineering and Mathematics Department in Middlesex University.
