Helen Delany

Visual artist Helen Delany studied Visual Communication at NCAD and CSM before working internationally as an art director and designer in graphic design, publishing, and multi-media. Working in the design Industry since the 1990s Helen has worked for leading publishers and Design Companies including Condé Nast (London and New York), Time Warner (New York), Deepend (Rome), Pentagram (London) and The Financial Times (London).
In 1998 Helen co-founded knitwear brand Electronic Sheep. The company evolved into an art practice in recent years when the knitted textiles diversified into oversized artworks and prints through a series of commissions and awards from community and arts organisations. The work is currently being exhibited internationally.
Helen has lectured in Textiles, Visual and Fashion Communication since 2001 and is currently a part time lecturer for Fashion Communication and Styling at Middlesex University.
