MSW, Dip SW, PG Certificate in Higher Education.Edd’s practice background is with self-advocacy, social work with people withlearning disabilities and with mental health. His teaching interests includeadult social care; safeguarding, professional law; mental health and mentalcapacity; disability issues. Edd’s research interests include social work withpeople with learning disabilities and people with dual diagnosis of learningdisabilities and mental illness; in particular witha focus on service user involvement and self-advocacy issues.
