Research activities

My research interests include improving quality in early years, influencing pedagogy and practice in early years, leadership in early years and employability. I am also interested in student experiences of assessment and placement within higher education. 


Current Teaching

My teaching interests include improving quality in early years, leading and managing in early years, emotional intelligence in early childhood education, equality, rights and inclusion and holistic development of children in early years. 


Biography

I am Programme Leader for BA(Hons) Early Childhood Studies. I have lead a range of modules including sociological perspectives around early childhood, early childhood development, leadership and management in early years, placement in early years across the three years on the programme.
