Biography
I was project manager of the European Human Rights Advocacy Centre (EHRAC) from its inception in 2003 up until 2013 when we moved our base from London Metropolitan University to within the School of Law at Middlesex University.
EHRAC operates as an independent human rights centre and is made up of a team of expert lawyers and NGO-management professionals specialising in international human rights law, focusing primarily on the European Convention of Human Rights. We build and strengthen the expertise of human rights lawyers and NGOs in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia and Ukraine by providing long-term legal mentoring, bespoke training, and ongoing advice and support.
In step with our migration to Middlesex University in 2013, I moved into a new, part-time role as Programme and Finance Advisor drawing on my experience of the establishment and operations of EHRAC.
