Biography
Current University Faculty Academic Dean based in London, UK with a Ph.D. in career stages in the addiction nursing workforce, with over 25 years’ experience in delivering education, and curriculum development and credentialing at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, specifically in the area of addictions, mental health, nursing, and social work; and course developer of the first Masters in co-morbidity (dual diagnosis) in Europe. I have a further 15+ years experience working in the NHS, more latterly in the role as senior clinical nurse specialist /manager in the addiction field. I am a qualified Fellow of the Higher Education Academy with a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education, and an Honorary Fellowship through distinction with the Faculty of Public Health. In addition to being a qualified registered nurse (RN) in adult and mental health care; I attained ICAP III (International Certified Addiction Professional) credentials, and I am an ISSUP Global Train the Trainer.
