Current Teaching

Carol mainly teaches on the postgraduate research degrees of PhD Work Based Learning, PhD Work Based Learning by Public Works, Doctor of Professional Studies and Doctor of Professional Studies by Public Works Doctoral & Post-Grad Programmes | Middlesex University London (mdx.ac.uk). All her teaching involves a practice-based approach to learning and teaching. her approach to teaching is informed by pedagogical research that is designed to enhance learning in work situations and develop work environmrnt through worker as researcher approaches to curriculum design.

Carol Costley has worked as a Professor of Work and Learningin the research area that explores how experienced people learn at work. has been in this field of study for over 25 years and engaged in Europeanresearch projects and as a teacher of adults studying part time in full timework.
