The Clearing process

Clearing, or UCAS Clearing, allows you to study the course right for you at the university of your choice after the normal UCAS cycle has finished on July 4. Every year, Clearing helps thousands find a university place and a home for the next 3 years (or beyond). Clearing opens on 5 July – 17 October 2024 (21 September 2024 - Final date for 2024 UCAS undergraduate applications). Prospective students can apply for a course using Clearing if they are not already holding an offer from a university or college, and the course still has places. If you have your results already you can call us on 020 8411 6565 from July 1st and we can prepare your offer for when Clearing opens on July 5. If you are waiting for your results on August 15 we can support and reassure you or your net steps on results day.

Good news – no you don’t. Clearing opens on 5 July and is another chance for you to gain a place at university or college.

Yes - we offer a range of halls of residence catering to different needs and preferences. Usher Hall, located in a quiet residential area opposite the Hendon campus, provides easy access to the university. In Colindale, Platt Hall is one of the largest halls, featuring shared flats ideal for students seeking a more social living environment, while Writtle House offers a quieter, more intimate setting in a historic building, popular with mature students. For those who prefer a vibrant local scene, Ivy Hall in Cricklewood offers rooms clustered around a charming courtyard, with the shops and restaurants of Cricklewood Broadway just a short walk away.
