Course Overview
You will be encouraged to consider improvement and leadership strategies to support the successful management of your project and to deliver real outcomes that have the potential to transform practice.
This module can be studied remotely and is usually taken after completing Advanced Practitioner Inquiry module. Please contact the module leader for more information.
About your course
Over the course of the programme, you will be supported to:
- Undertake project planning
- Utilise inquiry methodologies and improvement strategies for specific purposes
- Design relevant data collection tools
- Develop leadership and professional engagement
- Analyse data and evaluate outcomes
- Use findings to support practice development and impact
- Action plan next steps and disseminate outcomes for impact
- Follow Ethical approval processes
Learning and teaching
You will be taught via learning which is learner-centred and supported by:
- Eight tutor led seminars
- 1:1 academic supervision
- Structured learning resources and activities supported through MyUniHub
Assessment
You will be assessed using a project report equivalent of 12,000 words. The format of the report is negotiable depending on the project aims and target group.
You will also present during a project seminar for 15 minutes plus discussion time.
