Course content

This course will cover the following areas:

  • Introduction to audio and visual effects
  • Corrective effects
  • High-resolution images
  • Retiming
  • Colour treating and correcting nesting multiple effects
  • Multilayer effects
  • Performance and rendering
  • Keying and mattes
  • 3D title animation with marquee.

By the end of this course you will have a sound understanding of how to create audio and video effects using Media Composer. When combined with Media Composer – Fundamentals I (MC101), this course also prepares you for Avid’s User Level Certification.
