Course Overview

Whether your project involves live instruments, MIDI sequencing, recording vocals or audio looping, it teaches the basics of recording, editing and mixing, enabling you to take your audio project from inception to final mix down.

Course content

This short course will cover the following areas:

  • Creating a session and Pro Tools interface
  • Audio recording
  • Importing media into your session
  • MIDI recording
  • Selecting and navigating
  • Basic editing techniques
  • Basic mixing techniques
  • Finishing your work.

Upon completion of this course, you will have a good understanding of Pro Tools fundamentals and be prepared for the Pro Tools User Certification.
