The course is designed for a wide range of practitioners including social workers, occupational therapists, psychologists, registered nurses, and allied healthcare professionals. We understand the needs and challenges for mental health practitioners working with clients in a wide range of settings. That is why we have developed this course to be beneficial for professionals from multiple backgrounds including nursing, counselling, volunteering, and the independent sector.
The course is designed to enable you to maintain your employment while studying. The module is delivered through a series of lectures and workshops and the main aim is to equip you with the knowledge and skills to be able to identify, assess and manage individuals with memory/cognitive problems, dementia including referral pathways.
