Course overview
Medical Emergencies in Dental Practice is a 6 hour course that meets the training requirements of both the GDC and the Resuscitation Council (UK) as set out in the Quality Standards for CPR and training within primary dental care.
All dental practice staff are advised to have regular training in how to deal with emergencies in the work place.
'A patient could collapse on any premises at any time, whether they have received treatment or not. It is therefore essential that ALL registrants are trained in dealing with medical emergencies, including resuscitation, and possess up to date evidence of capability.'
