Preparation courses for international students

If you need some extra preparation to help secure your place at university, then we’re here to help. Our English language and foundation courses were designed to give you the skills and confidence to start your degree course.

Pre-sessional English courses

Pre-sessional English courses

If you have an offer to study at Middlesex and don’t meet the minimum English language requirements you can still join us.

Our admissions team will advise you if they think you should complete a Pre-sessional English course.

  • You won’t need to submit a separate application form
  • Courses take place in the months before term time
  • Course length depends on your level of English at the beginning of the Pre-sessional English course
  • You do not need to take an exam like IELTS if you pass a Pre-sessional English course

Applicants from some countries cannot be considered for this course so check your country page to see if you're eligible.
