Important information for international students

If you have any questions about entry requirements and the suitability of your qualifications, please contact your regional team.

Undergraduate - Year 1

To enter the first year of an undergraduate degree, we require a Thames Diploma or one-year's study at a college in the Philippines. Applicants with A Levels or an International Baccalaureate will also be considered.

Year 12 school leavers are required to undertake one year of foundation studies before continuing to an undergraduate course. You can apply to the International Foundation Programme at Middlesex, successful completion of which guarantees admission onto a degree programme. We also recognise a range of foundation courses awarded by other bodies, e.g. the Canadian International Matriculation Programme (CIMP) and the South Australian Matriculation (SAM).

Undergraduate - Year 2 & 3

Applications to the second or third year of an undergraduate degree will be considered on an individual basis.

Postgraduate

For our masters courses we require a BA degree from a First Grade College with a GPA of 2.5 or above. We may also consider students with a BA degree from a Second Grade College with above-average grades or work experience, or a GPA of 2.5 or above. If you're applying for a research degree, you need to have a masters degree from a recognised institution.

You must also meet our standard English Language Requirements. If you don't meet these or one of our other accepted tests, we offer a Pre-sessional English course.

We understand that knowing how you’ll fund your studies as an international student is something you’ll want to tick off your list as soon as possible. We’ve got plenty of support on budgeting to help you get the most out of your money and your university experience.
