Food on campus

Food on campus - healthy eating and dietary needs

Three women enjoying a conversation at an outdoor cafe, sipping beverages and surrounded by greenery.

When you’re on campus, we make sure you can find great quality, nutritious meals and snacks.

We have cafes, restaurants and 'grab and go' stops across our campus so you can always find a quick snack or a proper meal – it’s up to you. From fresh grilled chicken or sweet potato fries at MDX House to a salad or sandwich in the Quad, so you can choose whatever you fancy.

Our chefs use market research and student surveys to create tasty menus that are inclusive for different faith and dietary needs. We've got options for Halal, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and pescatarian dietary requirements.

If you have an allergy or intolerance then you'll be happy to know that we label all allergen information on our non-packaged food and drinks. We make sure our food options support a sustainable environment too.

Social spaces specially designed for you to work, network or unwind

Meet for a meal, enjoy a big night out, or just chill at MDX House. There's the Cube Lounge Bar, pool tables and Eat Street food court with places to eat.

Stop on the way to lectures to study, talk with friends or scroll through Instagram. The Rickett Quadrangle or Quad is a light, bright space where you'll want to spend time.

Music, design, fine art, film and fashion all happen at the Grove. There's always an exhibition, art installation or live performance to check out at the creative space in the Grove Atrium.

Challenge a mate to a game on the outdoor ping pong tables or our basketball court. We've also got green spaces to eat lunch or sunbathe.
