Why choose a Degree
Why choose a degree apprenticeship
Find out what it's like to be an apprentice at MDX video thumbnail

The best thing about an apprenticeship is that you're gaining real on -the -job experience as well as earning a full -time degree at the same time without any fees. My name is Tom and I'm a sales degree apprentice.

I work in a large business where I get to attach to an accounting. My name is Lucia and I'm nursing degree apprentice at NHS. A degree apprenticeship is where you're working a full -time paid job as well as going to university at the same time.

I don't need to pay for my tuition fee and on top of that I got paid for my work. I love the idea to work and study. I wanted to get out in there into the real world and start my career. At work the people are very nice.

They actually come to me looking for answers if they want an outside view basically. You go to different placements, you meet different people. When you will go to work you will be already familiar with the place.

When I'm at university it teaches me more about the theory side It helps me to manage my time better. It's really helpful for my future career as a nurse. I think that anyone can do a degree apprenticeship.

You get the academic title and you become a professional in the end. It's also a good chance to start off your career. I'm enjoying my time and I'm happy I'm doing it very much.
