Being completely honest, I wasn't the most academically gifted.
I was a bit daunted when I was asked to go back into education after a year of of being out of it, but what I found was, doing the Master's degree is not as intimidating as what it sounded to me at the beginning. It went at a pace that I was a lot more comfortable with.

A Master's degree was important for me because it's important to have something that kind of diversifies your CV and gives you something to stand out.

I had some really good people that worked in the industry, in my cohort, but also the lecturer's work that were guiding us at the time, people that worked as actual practitioners in the field, whether it be in football or otherwise.

And a lot of the people that I did my Master's degree with all went on to do, quite well and get full time employment in the sport, sort of their choice.

Why Middlesex University - The reason why I chose to go to Middlesex was because of, I think the main deciding factor was because of financial support. Middlesex University offered me an EU scholarship.

My biggest accomplishment while studying at Middlesex was honestly my final project in general. I was super proud of it worked hard for it as well, which
then later helped me to get a job. I like that the university is based in North London. We also left North West a few times to go to the Design Museum, or we had our semester show at a gallery in East London.
Middlesex University London Campus.

Middlesex location in London campus is amazing. London is a global financial market, and my Master’s in Investment and Finance made this, an ideal location. It's very international, so it gave me the opportunity
of, meeting people from all around the world, knowing about different cultures and just engaging with so many different people.

The MDX works team, which guided me and guides students to find jobs, prepare for interviews, CV prep as well. It's very important.
I can say specifically that one of my professors served as a mentor in my job hunting process, giving me some tips that were essential, in me landing the role I'm in today.

I worked as a fixed income specialist at Bloomberg, and one advice he gave me was try to set your foot in the door first.
I've been able to find a full time job there, and definitely his guidance and his support was very important.
