Welcome to Middlesex University. Today we're going to show you a little bit about what it's like to study here to help you decide if it's the right place for you. We're a global uni that's working towards a healthier, happier and a more sustainable world for everyone.

We take action as a community and find solutions to create the world we want to see. Courses at Middlesex are relevant and up to date because they're taught by academics who are working professionally or doing innovative research.

A lot of learning takes place outside of the lecture hall so you actually get to learn things in a practical way. Courses are really focused on getting your job. There's loads of opportunities to do placements and get work experience that looks amazing on your CV.

You can get personal career support to work out where you want to go or even help you start your own business. There's loads of student entrepreneurs here. If you're feeling like coming to uni is a big step, then don't worry.

There's plenty of ways to get help and support for your studies like from academics or other students. There's also services in place to help with things like mental health and finances. For example, you can get free counselling and also have access to wellbeing apps.

So maybe you're asking yourself, where is Middlesex? The campus is in Hendon, a really nice area of north London. We're 15 minutes by tube to Camden and 30 minutes to central London. Transport links means that many students commute to uni while living at home.

There's also plenty of accommodation to choose from and places to rent near campus too. We are a really welcoming community where you can be yourself and find your place. Whatever you're into, the Student Union have a club or society just for you.

Middlesex is also one of the most international universities in the world. There are people from 160 different nationalities here. Plus we have other campuses across the world like in Dubai and Mauritius.

That's just an intro of what it's like to study here. Want to know more? Chat to more students like us on uni buddy and get your questions answered. We hope to see you at Middlesex someday.
