How to apply as an international student

Most of our courses start in September, but some courses also run in January. View the academic calendar to find out more about start dates.

There are a number of ways you can apply to a course at Middlesex depending on the level of study.

Apply

How to apply

If you are applying for a full-time undergraduate course at more than one university in the UK, then you need to apply through UCAS.

  • The application fee for 2024 entry is £27.50 for both single choice or more than one choice
  • The deadline to apply for most courses is 15 January
  • Our institution code is M80
  • Our individual course code can be found on our course pages

Get started by creating an account on our Applicant Portal where you can submit your application directly to us. You can apply for more than one course, upload supporting documents and submit your online portfolio or show-reel.

When to apply

We recommend applying as early as possible for your chosen course to ensure you are granted a place. Remember, you can submit your application before you receive your final qualification.

After

After you apply, you might be asked for additional supporting documents to help our Admissions team process your application.

Supporting documents

  • You need to show us copies of your academic documentation, including transcripts and certificates. These should be copies of the originals on letter-headed paper or with a stamp by the awarding body or institution.
  • You will also need to provide references (on letter-headed paper) and a copy of your CV if applicable to your application. Documents that aren't in English will need to be translated by an official translator.
  • Talk to your International Office if you have any questions about international qualifications.

Some of our courses have some further entry requirements such as:

  • Test
  • Interview
  • Audition
  • Portfolio

If you are required to provide one of the above, our Admissions team will be in contact with you after you apply. They will let you know exactly what information to provide and when.

As an international student who isn't based in the UK, you will be able to submit or conduct the above items in an online format.
